Share you stories of how you discovered Archie here. How long have you been a fan? What Archie comics and Digests do you collect?
I have been a huge Archie fan for at least 5 years now and subscribe to all the Archie Digests, Comics and Magazines, which includes Afterlife with Archie, Chilling Tales of Sabrina, Sonic, Megaman and so much more. I find so much humor and peace in reading an Archie comic when I am having a bad day so it is always great to turn to an Archie comic when I am feeling down, need a laugh or a good story to read and enjoy. Anyone else have their own stories about Archie Comics and how many years you have been a fan.

I discovered Archie from my dad. He brought me a comic from the check out line in the supermarket on surprise thinking i'd enjoy something to read. Never did he think I would of started collecting and have over 200 comics. This was back when Betty and Veronica Double Digest #132 came out

archiecomicxfan215-Great story about the first Double Digest that got you into reading Archie comics. Sometimes all it takes is a good story or Digest to get you started. I am impressed that you have over 200 comics! Archie Marries Art by Stan Goldberg and written by Michael Uslan This very hardcover book that brought me back to Archie Comics and lit the fire that has had me reading Archie Comics for the last five years! I loved Stan Goldbergs artwork here and in any Digest or comic that his artwork appears in. Stan Goldberg embodies what Archie Comics is for me in the way he draws his characters and environments and is among my favorite Archie artists along with Fernando Ruiz, Rex Lindsey, Harry Lucey, Dan Parent, Jeff Shultz and a few others who embody the spirit and heart of Archie comics in their own artwork!
