The first two Digests that will feature new stories coming are both out - September 2014!
Archie Digest fans have been waiting for Digests that feature brand new stories instead of all reprints and that is about to change very soon with the very first two Digests with new stories coming out in September 2014. The type of new stories that will featured, which Digest titles will have these new stories and when these Digests will be released in September is shown below.
So far it is known that the Digests will have new stories coming in September, October and November 2014 but this post is meant to focus on the new stories coming to the Digests in September 2014. The covers and information for these Digests appears below. What do you think about the type of new stories coming? Are you buying these Digests in September and do you like that they are Halloween themed?
From my perspective, I love new stories but far beyond being new stories I hope that they will be well written and well drawn new stories. I also love themed issues such as these Halloween issues shown below, but my favorite themed issues are the Holiday themed ones, the first Holiday themed issue which will also have new stories will be World of Archie #44 and should be released on October 20, 2014.
I hope that the new stories will be drawn from my elite group of amazing Archie artists: Rex Lindsey, Dan Parent, Fernando Ruiz, Bill Galvan, Bill Golliher.
