There's a new card game on kickstarter, called Exploding Kittens that looks pretty interesting. To quote the Kickstarter, the game is "a highly strategic kitty-powered version of Russian Roulette. Players take turns drawing cards until someone draws an exploding kitten and loses the game. The deck is made up of cards that let you avoid exploding by peeking at cards before you draw, forcing your opponent to draw multiple cards, or shuffling the deck." The team behind the game are Elan Lee (Xbox, ARGs), Shane Small (Xbox, Marvel) and Matthew Inman (The Oatmeal). There are currently two reward levels available: $20 + International Shipping (Outside of US) = The base game. $35 + International Shipping (Outside of US) = The base game + a 40 card "Not Safe For Work" deck, of cards that were too horrifying and/or incredible to add into a game that is kid friendly.

Wow I had heard about this Kickstarter but was not sure about it. It has made so much money! Thanks for posting about it. I will look into it.
