-Nice cover art showing the Archie gang at the Zoo and what their animal counterparts might be if they were turned into an animal. For example, Archie would be a chimp, Jughead a Giraffe, Sabrina an owl.

Story: Archie in Walk on the Wild Side
-I am not the greatest of fans of Pat and Tim Kennedys art but in this issue they did not do such a bad job. I also like the story that Alex Segura created for this issue as I was not as impressed as much with the date storyline that he created for issue 660.
-In this very funny, zany and original story Salem, Sabrina's magical cat accidently turns the Archie gang into animals when they go visiting the local zoo. The worst part is that anyone they come into contact with will also be turned into animals so the situation goes from bad to worse as eventually most of the town is turned into animals and Archie and the others must find a way to turn themselves back. In the issue Archie is turned into a chimp, Betty into a rabbit, Veronica into a peacock, Jughead into a Giraffe and Reggie into a hyena. It is very fitting that Reggie is turned into a hyena as it fits his personality very well.
-I love these type of issues where magic gets involved and causes problems for Archie and the gang. Its my type of story full of action and suspense as Archie tries to figure out what to do next and all they can do is see the whole town get turned into animals and they have no clue why this happened or what to do about it which is where the funny aspect of it all comes through.
-Sabrina comes to the rescue near the end of the issue and she is able to save the day and along with Salem the spell is reversed and everyone goes back to human form.
-This is one of those funny issues that you will not forget after reading it because of everything that happens. The gang peacefully enjoying a trip to the zoo one minute and the next they are the very animals that they had been watching. Just a fun and well written issue overall!
