-Many of you have seen my reviews and here I wanted to explain how I review.
-In Digests and in collections that contain many stories I will usually choose a top story that I give the Archie Award of Excellence Story to and two or three stories that I give an Archie Honorable Mention Story to. If its a comic by itself I will probably give it a number grade such as 5 out of 5 Archies shown below.
-Please note that as of 10/12/14 I will usually only be reviewing the latest Archie Digests, Archie Comics and graphic novels that score an Overall rating of a 4 (Outstanding) or 5 (Masterpiece) so you know that these are the definite and latest Digests, comics and graphic novels that you should purchase over all others! This will only be for the Digests, Archie and Betty and Veronica Comic and Archie graphic novels. Although I may make expections to this on particular issues even if the score is lower than a 4 or 5.
-I will still be reviewing individual issues of Afterlife with Archie and Chilling Adventures of Sabrina even if they score lower than a 4 or 5 since they have important storylines that are continuous.

Archie Honorable Mention Story-Stories in a Digest or comics collection that are worth mentioning. There are definitely many more than the two or three I mention but these are examples of some that stood out to me.
Some solo comics and graphics novels will only have this number rating while some may have both the above system as well as this one.
5 out of 5 Stars: Masterpiece!- Definitely top of its class with amazing and unforgettable art and story.
-In a Digest or collection this means that it contains many top quality stories with great art and story and is one of those Digests that you will never forget due to the very high quality of stories.
-This is a score that is not given out easily and only given to the best of the best Digests, comics and collections.
-You should definitely buy this over other comics and Digests as its a classic!
4 out of 5 Stars: Outstanding!-A comic that has great qualities in most areas such as story and art but just missed greatness in a few areas.
-In a Digest or collection this means that there are some top quality stories with great art and story.
-This score is not easily given out and is given to Digests and comics and collections that stand out from others.
-A definite and high recommendation for purchase!
3 out of 5 Stars: Good!-Shows some good qualities in some areas such as art and writing but could have been better. While the story is good there are better Archie stories out there.
-In a Digest or comics collection this means that you will find a few good stories but overall there are better Digests and comic collections out there.
-A recommendation for purchase only if you can find at a low price.
2 out of 5 Stars: Poor- A few likeable qualities but suffers greatly in many areas such as in art and writing.
-In a Digest or comics collection this means there are very few stories of quality and the rest are not worth mentioning.
-Definitely not recommended for reading or purchase!
1 out of 5 Stars: Stay away- A story that fails in all areas such as art and story and a comic you should stay away from.
-In a Digest or comics collection this means that most of the stories are of very low quality.
-Definitely not recommended for reading or purchase!.
