Book one took me around 4 and a half hours to complete, which was about average and Red Thread expect that Book two will take between six and twelve hours to complete. Book one was pretty short, but I thonk it was designed that way. It introduces both player characters, establishes what happened after Dreamfall and starts the threads of the next part of the Longest Journey saga, without dragging on too much. From what I've played of book two, the story is starting to take shape. New characters have been introduced and the Arcadian side of the story is starting to get quiet interesting. I haven't started the Stark chapter yet, but I've got a feeling it's not going to be all sunshine and rainbows...

Thats not bad at all for gameplay time and it looks like the story is getting even more interesting. When you finish book 2 I will be interested to know if you look forward to the rest of the books.

Just finished the (first?) Stark Chapter, and yeah... No sunshine and rainbows here, folks. I'm now about four and a half hours into book two and there's still at least a chapter to go, maybe two. Some of the decisions I've made have come back to haunt me, which is nice in a way, although its always slightly unnerving when "This choice will have consequences." comes up in the corner of the screen. I don't need to finish the book to tell you this: I am really looking forward to the rest of the books and I'll be playing them as soon as I can. The story is typical TLJ goodness, the new characters are excellent, the choices are terrifying (in a good way. I haven't had to think so hard about in game decisions before) and the gameplay isn't terrible. (Not much of a compliment, but Adventure game gameplay has always been a bit... iffy, at least to me). I'm also quite invested in the story and I really want to see how it all ends.

Definitely looking forward to playing this adventure game if you have enjoyed it as much as you have so far. Hopefully the rest of the game is as good as what you have played so far. Just waiting for a sale on this game.

Fair enough. Should be a major Steam sale coming up within the next few months. Oh and my completion time for book two was 6 hours.
