Hey there, Syra here!
Since i finnaly scrolled down (hehe... oops, did not notice it was passible) i figured out that there was a gaming selection
And since i game very often -24/7- I would like to tell you something about the following games:
-Archeage
Archeage is a MMORPG,
For those who dont know what MMORPG's are, I'll explain it shortly It are online role-playing games (Massive Multiplayer Online Role Playing Game)
So, Archeage is a game that you can play with a whole bunch of friends and other random players. Most people prefer to play in a group, so they mosty join a guild or create one. Just like i did So at the moment im a proud member of Log Horizon, a mostly traiding guild in this impressive MMO.
About the game:
The game mainly plays like EVE online in a medival setting. There are serveral guild trying to claim land to set taxes, and there is even a trial system, wich sends people to jail. (like me last night
)
In Archeage you can do serveral things to get monney. Most of them are more efficient in a group than others, so it depents on what you like if you need a guild. First of all, i would like to introduce you to the wonderfull art of...
Crafting:
Crafting is a very intresting thing to go, you run to the marchant, buy the things you need, and craft something by clicking on it in the menu. Then you wait unit the bar is full, and then you've crafted something.
Sounds boring? Well, i can tell you: It IS boring
Farming:
You can also be a farmer in Archeage, The way this works is very intresting. You can protect your crops from other players by planting them in a private farm, wich you can build enywhere you want. The problem is, that if a other guild controls the land you're building on. They can let you pay taxes. On your farm, you can let serveral plants grow and then gather the resourses that come from it. You can also hold a wide varity of animals, wich you have to feed to keep them alive.
A intresting thing about farming is that you dont HAVE to claim a small pice of land as your farm. If you do so, your crops will be protected, but if you dont. You will still be able to place crops!
So its passible to create ""illigal farms"" and let your crops grow without paying taxes, the only thing you have to do is hide your crops because the chances are hudge that someone will find it and take all of your crops, even the little ones that doest even drop something.
Farming 2 "How it works":
Farming is mostly waiting unit your crops are grown, unless you plant them outside your protected area, then you'll mostly have to devend them from other players By picking farming you can get the following things wich you can sell for a lot of gold!
Logs ($$$) petatos ($) leather and eggs ($$) and a whole buch of other plants and trees ($$$!)
I know this does not say very much, but im not a farmer my self, so I dont know exactly how much monny you can make this way!
But i do know those items are expensive on the AH
Tradepacks:
You can also do traderuns, by ship or by car/donkey. You can also walk, but the debuff from the resources that you're carrying on your bag is so big that i would not recommand it!
The main goal of traderunners is to deliver their tradepack (wich they carrey on their sholders) to the marchant on a town far away from where they bought it.
The more distance is between where you bought the pack and where you deliver it, the more its worth. But keep in mind that there are serveral...
Pirates! on your way:
You can become a pirate by grinding Crime Points, you get those for stealing an others crops, or killing someone elses farms, or by just killing all other players around you. But since this game has a danger zone, you can't do the last one evrywhere.
=) Also, you cant kill someone when he is near a statune of the goddes (i forgot her name again ""shame on me XD"") But being a pirate means you can team up with people from the other land wich are originally your enemys.
But you should keep in mind that they speak a diffrend league, so if you did not learn that, you will only see something like this is the chat

Judge:
The last one does not bring any monney, but is surely fun! Because whats more fun than judging all the pirates and other scum that is walking around some manners by sending them to prism or just cutting their head off if they whont learn

I nearly forgot this one! You should know that Archeage has a labor system, wich means you cant keep mining all day! If you run out of labor, you can still do quests and such things, but you're not able to cut trees, manage your farm, mine, or open the special drops!
Special drops:
Evrything in Archeage will drop as a ? By right clicking it, you indentify it and gain a weapon or armor piece, remember that this costs you about 2 labor! the intresting part of this system is that you're able to get legendary gear from quests!
and that you will never know what you're gonna get!
Its also important to know that you can buy patron status by the use of the AH, this makes it able to gain patron status without paying!
My guild
Im in the guild Log Horizon,
Its planning to become the server dominating guild (if it isnt already) Its a very active guild with traderuns nearly evry night, also, we do raids evryday and we group up very frequently! We've got a bad name because we have been in war with 5 guilds at once and we won, wich made them pissed off, and now they are trying to create as much hate as passible. Since we noticed this, we're trying to create as much allys as passible.
Schip:
We've got 5 schips, 4 small schips and a gallion, wich is the greatest battleschip of the game! Because of the fact that we're very active we've got a Teamspeak server and a site I know, that does not sound that special, but beleave me, The chat is going so fast that you have to type evrything almost 3 x bevore you can actually read it
(its not always like that.. but sometimes it is, so its great that you can login on teamspeak then, to keep talking without evryone spamming you away )
