Right now I am reading Archie's Funhouse Comics Digest #8. I also currently read Megaman and Sonic the Hedgehog Comics also from Archie Comics. For Sonic the Hedgehog I have read over 250 issues and there will be a new Sonic comic soon in October called Sonic Boom. Cartoon Network will also have a cartoon called Sonic Boom showing up soon which the Sonic Boom comic will be based on. I am a huge Archie Comics Fan since I subscribe to over 14 of their Digests, comics and Magazines. I am also reading Afterlife with Archie which is about Zombies which have taken over the town of Riverdale where Archie and his friends live. Its not your normal Zombie type of story as it has great art and writing which makes it excel. In October a new comic from Archie Comics will come out called Sabrina which is about a powerful witch. I also plan to begin reading Fable in the future from issue 1 as I think there are over 100 by now, along with the Walking Dead from issue 1 when I get the chance, which also has over 100 issues out right now. I have over 100 issues of both the Fable comic and Walking Dead. I just need to get started reading them. Once that happens I know it can do it. Sometimes it is difficult to be able to set time aside for something when you know there are so many issues left to read. I tend to feel overwhelmed when I feel I am falling behind on a comic and just don't read it.

I never read Archie or Sonic. Unfortunately here in Brazil Archie is not famous. My friend has TWD and I can read his, I really like, but we can like one character because eventually it'll die. Just like Game of Thrones I'm reading ton of stuff at the moment. Haha

You are right that you need to be careful of liking a character in the Walking Dead because eventually they make be gone just like in the TV series or like in Game of Thrones. I am glad you love and enjoy so many different comics! Excellent!

Which Archie's tpb do you recommend for a newbie like me? I Since the very funny comics always has Archie deciding who he will marry, either the rich black haired Veronica or the Blond Haired normal everyday person Betty a great series of stories came out a few years back in which Archie goes down this magical street where he is able to see a future where he is either married to Veronica or Betty and in the story you get to see a possible life of what it would be like to be married to either Betty or Veronica. Here is a link: Click here to see Archie Marries at AmazonThis is the book that got me back to Archie comics after I had left for so long and the book I would recommend to you. But this is only after you have read other stories for awhile. Archie actually has started coming out with 1000 page collections of comics which you can find at Amazon. This is the latest one called 1000 Page Comics Explosion and has comics from many different artists across so many different years. Click here to see 1000 Page Archie book at Amazon For a newbie I would recommend these 1000 page books as it has so many different types of funny stories to read at one time for a great price. You can also find other 1000 page collections that came out last year. I think about 6 or 7 of these collections have come out.

I used to read Archie comics all the time growing up. I still have a bunch of my old digests. My dad threw away over 3/4 of my collection though, so I only have a minuscule amount compared to what I once owned. When I was moving, I came across them like two months ago and sat on the floor (surrounded by crap I needed to still pack) and read a bunch. Ohhh the nostalgia!

Cool! The amount of Archie Digests that you had must have been huge. You should see my collection as I have hundereds and hundereds of comics and Digests and currently subscribe directly from Archie to all 6 current Digest titles and other comics Archie publishes. I think I get over 15 Archie Digests, Comics and magazines. If my Archie Digests and comics were thrown out I would probably have a heart attack as they mean that much to me. Have you read about the new series Afterlife with Archie? What a great memory of sitting on the floor and reading all those Archie Digests. I never knew you were an Archie reader! I just love reading an Archie comic. Often I have laughed so much reading them or even cried based on the story. Archie comics can draw so many feelings out of you! Did you hear that one of the famous Archie artists, Stan Goldberg recently passed away. As I go through the many Digests I usually do not go through many repeat stories as Archie has produced so much content that it will soon celebrate its 75th Birthday! Thanks again for joining and sharing your memories!

Yeah my collection was once rather large. When I found out that he threw them away I was so angry. Jughead was and always will be my favourite. Him and I are just too alike. We both love our hamburgers!
No I've never read any of the new stuff. I stopped reading years ago. I only picked up my old copies recently and began rereading them. Gosh it's 75? Sheesh I didn't even realize it was that old!

Yes, it is about 75 years since Archie Comics was founded in 1939!
